Our Teachers
We believe a teacher’s influence on a student’s future extends far beyond what goes on in the classroom. Our teaching philosophy is centered on instilling a passion for the arts while building self-esteem and confidence in every child. The students’ well-being is our priority; their technical capability is secondary.
Our Teaching Philosophy
Our role as arts educators is to pass on a love and appreciation of dance, art and music to future generations.
We believe:
iIn doing what is right and prudent for every child.
Children deserve age appropriate costumes, music, choreography and themes.
it is more important to learn dance technique vs choreography and art techniques vs copying other’s work.
that excellence requires hard work, commitment and repetition over years of training. is a Paragraph Font
We will:
introduce movement at the appropriate time with the appropriate strength, training, and maturity.
be lifelong students committed to learning and professional development.
use a diverse toolbox of resources and media to reach visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.
Our Values
Integrity - we lead with integrity, speak with honesty and transparency in our communications with staff, customers and the community.
Innovation - we ask “what else?” and challenge ourselves to evaluate, analyze data and find new ways to serve our customers and each other. We imagine first, unapologetically and without boundaries.
